Former AEW Champ Admits They Didn’t Watch All In: “I Went To The Movies”

Ricky Starks & CM Punk on AEW Collision

A former AEW champion recently opened up on missing out on the All In PPV.

Former FTW champion Ricky Starks recently shared his routine while All In was on. During the Zero Hour of the show, former Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter returned after almost a year.

While London went crazy over Hayter’s return, Ricky Starks shared his excitement on X (Twitter), a couple of hours later. Soon enough, fans spotted his delay and pointed it out on the social media platform. Starks responded to the fan and claimed:

I went to the movies with my mom…I’m going to catch up on the full stream when I’m home lol.”

The former champion further clarified to another fan that he has access to the show, and will catch up on it on his time. An active talent on the roster, some fans found this behavior strange, while others applauded Starks for spending time with his family.

Tony Khan Opens Up On Ricky Starks’ AEW Status

Fans have been recently speculating a lot on Starks’ situation in the promotion. The former champion has been absent from television since March 30th after his match. This extended absence has led to widespread speculation about his future.

Addressing the situation, Tony Khan opened up on the star’s status during the All In media call. He stated:

I think very highly of Ricky. He’s somebody that has been here for several years and he’s under contract in AEW.”

While Tony Khan confirmed Starks’ continued partnership with the promotion, Ricky Starks was also highly rumored to be a part of NXT in the future. However, fans will need to wait and see what unfolds in the former champion’s career.
