Footage of Liv Morgan’s arrest back in December 2023 has been made public.
While out of action due to injury, Liv Morgan was arrested for possession of marijuana in Sumter County, Florida following a traffic stop. Local reports that broke the news of the arrest stated that law enforcement officials found a “small plastic bag containing marijuana” and a “vape pen containing an oil-like substance” in Morgan’s vehicle that later tested positive for marijuana.
A police report containing additional details was released stating that Morgan, real name Gionna Daddio, failed to keep her vehicle in control as it crossed the yellow and white lines several times, necessitating the stop and search.
All charges against Morgan were later dropped and the former Women’s Champion returned to WWE at the Royal Rumble. There was also no heat on Morgan due to the arrest.
On May 15th, the Law & Crime Network released bodycam footage of Morgan’s arrest. The arresting officer is seen asking if Morgan had been smoking marijuana, which the WWE star denies but says that she was in possession of it.
Morgan is then asked to step out of the vehicle, subsequently detained and says that she has never been arrested for failure to appear.
The officer, who is not aware of Morgan’s identity at first, later goes through her possessions and proceeds to read her journal aloud, listing Morgan’s life goals, including breaking into Hollywood and becoming an Oscar winner. At this point, the officer realises who Morgan is. The video ends with Morgan in the police car and being informed that she is being arrested for possession of marijuana, with the possession of the vape being a felony.
