When Vince McMahon returned to Monday Night Raw on March 6th it was reported that he turned heads for a number of reasons.
While the appearance was notable as it was McMahon’s first at a taping since returning to the company in January, his physical appearance also got people talking. It was revealed that the Executive Chairman was sporting what was described as a “creepy” new mustache with newly dyed hair. However, photos that appeared shortly after were proven to be fake.
After it was reported that McMahon would be at WrestleMania 39, the controversial figure was pictured at the Hall of Fame ceremony on March 31st.
In a video from Pro-Wrestling NOAH celebrating the induction of The Great Muta, McMahon — new hair and mustache and all — can be seen posing with the Japanese legend.
Vince McMahon To Remain As Executive Chairman
A new legal filing from WWE has revealed that Vince McMahon is now officially a WWE employee once again. His new contract with the company has been back-dated to January 9th, when was when he was appointed Executive Chairman.
McMahon will stay in the role for “a term of two years”, from “his start date of January 9, 2023, subject to automatic extension for additional one-year terms thereafter unless either the Company or Mr. McMahon provides at least 180 days’ notice of non-renewal.”
The filing also confirmed a new pay rise for CEO Nick Khan, whose base salary increased from $1.35 million to $1.5 million.
