First Trailer Released For Vince McMahon Netflix Docuseries [Video]

Netflix has released the first trailer for the upcoming docuseries about Vince McMahon.

On August 29th, Netflix officially announced that the long-awaited documentary about Vince McMahon would be coming to the platform on September 25th and would consist of 6 episodes each an hour in length. The synopsis stated that McMahon himself would be interviewed for the project along with some of the biggest names in the industry. On September 5th, an official trailer dropped to reveal who some of these names are and what to expect upon release.

Beginning with McMahon uttering the line “People have wondered who really I am. The portrayal of me is I’m a bad guy but no one really knows me” to the camera, The Rock, Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin and John Cena are all seen giving interviews. More archive footage airs with Bruce Prichard, Eric Bischoff and Jimmy Hart seen, with Hart being the first one to note the many scandals that were happening.

Further clips include subjects that will be covered in the series such as the Benoit murder-suicide and the steroid scandal before cutting to a shot of The Wall Street Journal article that led to his resignation from WWE. The closing shot of the trailer sees McMahon say “My name is not Vince, my name is Mr. McMahon.”

Notable Name Will Not Feature In Vince McMahon Project

With some of the biggest names in the wrestling history seen in the trailer, multiple perspectives of those who worked closely with McMahon will be featured in the Netflix series. However, when addressing the topic on their podcast, one Hall of Famer said that they will not be in the Vince McMahon docuseries but would have been interviewed if asked.
