Firefly Funhouse Bray Wyatt Returns, Alexa Bliss Introduces New Friend

By Gary Cassidy. Published 13th April 2021.
Lily

Following a bizarre encounter during WWE WrestleMania that saw The Fiend return to his original form and Alexa Bliss seemingly evolve and cost him the match, the fall-out on the RAW After WrestleMania was just as odd.

After returning to WWE with a shocking new look, the latest incarnation of The Fiend didn’t stick around long enough to compete in a match – restoring himself to the previous version to take on Randy Orton at the Show of Shows. The new attire hinted at in WWE Supercard renders did make an appearance prior to the restoration, with The Fiend walking through a tunnel and undergoing his transformation. Alexa Bliss got the big entrance, cranking the arm of an oversized version of the Jack-in-a-box we’ve saw her carry on Monday Night RAW over the past few weeks, to unleash the demon. The introduction nicely foreshadowed the ending of the bizarre encounter, though, as Alexa Bliss emerged from the box with a much more demonic look of her own – with black liquid raining down her face – and cost a distracted Fiend the match.

While the WWE Universe was left baffled when Raymond James Stadium blacked out as to leave us with a cliffhanger, answers weren’t forthcoming on RAW, despite both Alexa Bliss and Bray Wyatt appearing in respective segments.

Alexa Bliss took the chance on an Alexa’s Playground segment to explain that she was saved by The Fiend many months ago, but found her strength in the darkness, before introducing a new friend… A puppet named Lily. Said puppet sat creepily on the swing next to Bliss before the mouth of the doll animatedly chomped to end the scene.

As for Bray Wyatt, it was a return to business as we saw a Firefly FunHouse segment for the first time in 2021, with Bray Wyatt seemingly being healed alongside The Fiend as the jolly, joyous Wyatt returned alongside all of his FunHouse friends.

Wyatt said he “feels great” and that it could be a new start, a new season, with new friends and “a new me” – proclaiming that he feels “reborn” before “healing” Huskus and Mercy. Bray Wyatt said there will be “no more clout-chasing” before prophesising the return of The Fiend, and waving goodbye.
