Finn Balor fails to retain his Tag-Team Championships.

On December 14th during Saturday Night’s Main Event, Gunther pinned Balor during a triple threat match also involving Damian Priest, to retain his World Championship. Set around 48 hours after his SNME match, Balor was again a part of another title match.

Paired alongside JD McDonagh, The Judgment Day members defended their tag titles against The War Raiders. Thanks to an interference from Priest, Ivar pinned Balor to win the tag-team Championships.

Bringing an end to McDonagh and Balor’s defenseless title reign, The War Raiders crowned themselves the new WWE Tag-Team Champions. In a few hours, Balor suffered the devastation of losing both the World Championship and the Tag Titles.

While big things are reportedly in plans for Finn Balor in 2025, his woe seems to continue for now.
