The Judgment Day may expand in the near future.
The group that was created by Edge initially consisted of The Rated R Superstar, Damian Priest and Finn Balor. The faction would grow to four members at WrestleMania Backlash, with Rhea Ripley being revealed as the newest addition.
Finn Balor Has Plans To Grow WWE Faction
Following the recruitment of The Nightmare, The Judgment Day would then shockingly turn on Edge, expelling the creator from the group. The faction would remain a trio until shortly after the Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event, where Dominik Mysterio would join following shock heel turn on both Edge and Rey Mysterio.
The group’s leader Finn Balor recently appeared on The Bump. During the conversation, the inaugural Universal Champion stated that once WrestleMania 39 has concluded, more people could be joining The Judgment Day:
“We are always planning. The Judgment Day are always planning, we’re always plotting, we’re always scheming. I’m always texting with Damian. We have a group chat with me, Damian, Rhea, Dom. We’re plotting, we’re figuring things out, and trust me, once we get Mania behind us, The Judgment Day will be expanding.”
Balor would continue on to describe the success of Dominik Mysterio in The Judgement Day, describing how they have done more for the young star than father Rey ever has:
“You know, it’s kind of — it kind of makes me sad a little bit that Dominik hasn’t received the support from his family. The fact that he’s growing and achieving so much in such a short time, but without that backbone of family support is quite incredible. But at the same time, my family have always supported me, so I take that kind of for granted that people should be supported by their families. And the fact that Rey has continuously not shown support, not shown interest in his son’s development and career is quite saddening.”
Balor concluded by simply saying that Dominik will be the dominant one in the Mysterio family:
“So you know, myself, Damian and Rhea have all been a shoulder for Dom to lean on. And I think he’s stepped out of his father’s shadow in such a short time, and I think he’s gonna make his father pay.”
