NXT Champion Finn Balor has named Randy Orton as the WWE main roster star he would most like to see make an appearance in NXT.
Since his all-out war with Pete Dunne at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day on February 14, ‘The Prince’ has been vocal about his current rivals and those he sees stepping up to the challenge in the not too distant future citing Kona Reeves as a future NXT Championship rival and naming ‘Then Bruiserweight’ as one of the absolute best he’s ever been in the ring with.
Now, the Irish champion has spoken to WWE’s After The Bell to handpick the one man from WWE’s main roster that he would like to see make an appearance in NXT:
“I think we could all learn so much from Randy Orton. I feel like Randy could really bring NXT to the next level with regards to the effect he would have on the people around him in the locker room, you know, in the ring, his professionalism, his experience.”
Finn Balor and Randy Orton have clashed previously on Friday Night SmackDown in 2019 when ‘The Prince’ teamed with Ali to battle ‘The Viper’ and Andrade, but have never met in a main event singles clash.
Currently, the Irishman has his hands full with both Pete Dunne and Adam Cole who are chomping at the bit for another shot at the NXT Championship in the not too distant future.
