Finn Balor is the latest star to confirm his future with WWE.
Shortly before the April 22nd episode of Raw went on the air, Balor took to social media to let fans know that he would be remaining a part of the company:
I would like to take this moment to say thank you to WWE for 10 incredible years. And after much thought and consideration , I have decided that now is the right time to say ‘I ain’t going nowhere!’
The former Universal Champion made his debut for the company on the October 23rd 2014 episode of NXT, defeating Tyson Kidd in his first match.
More details have been provided about Balor’s deal via Fightful Select, who state that The Judgment Day member is expected to sign a “long-term contract extension” if he has not already committed to the company for the future. Additionally, WWE were looking to sign Finn Balor to a “big money” offer. With Balor having significant interest outside of the company, specifically AEW, his signing was one that the company wanted to secure sooner rather than later as his contract was said to be up in a couple of months.
