Finn Balor joined fellow WWE star Andrade as the only two wrestlers who have competed in four of the biggest shows put up by top promotions in the pro wrestling industry.
At AAA Triplemania XXXIII this week, The Prince teamed up with his stablemates JD McDonagh and Raquel Rodriguez, as The Judgment Day defeated the team of Mr. Iguana, Niño Hamburguesa, and Lola Vice in a Mixed Trios Match. This was his fourth major showcase at a different wrestling promotion, as he has also wrestled at CMLL Aniversario, NJPW Wrestle Kingdom, and, of course, WWE’s Grandest Stage of Them All, WrestleMania.

Balor, who is now the World Tag Team Champion on Monday Night RAW alongside JD McDonagh, had previously participated in CMLL’s 80th Anniversary Show in 2013, NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 8 in 2014, and since 2018, he has wrestled at several editions of WWE WrestleMania.
Perhaps nothing trumps in terms of a high-profile match than his WrestleMania 39 Hell in a Cell showdown against the former Edge (Adam Copeland), who parted ways with WWE later that year and joined AEW.

The ubiquitous statement from many wrestling media outlets earlier this year was that Vince McMahon influenced the booking decisions during WrestleMania 39 week. In a report by Fightful Select, McMahon pushed for The Rated-R Superstar to win over Finn Balor’s near-unbeatable persona, The Demon.
This booking decision was severely criticized, as the victory served Edge’s character no purpose. Conversely, it destroyed any momentum Balor’s alter-ego, The Demon, had, killing off its aura and mystique.
