Finn Balor Joins The Judgment Day, Shockingly Turns On Edge

Finn Balor joined The Judgement Day before the group shockingly turned on their leader!

Ahead of Monday Night Raw, WWE teased that The Judgment Day would be adding a fourth member to its ranks. The group has been a dominant force ever since Damian Priest aligned with Edge at WrestleMania 38, and has grown even stronger since the addition of Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania Backlash.

WWE put a countdown to the announcement on social media, and sure enough, the group came out to address the crowd just before the third hour of the show began.

Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley spoke about fulfilling their destiny, with Damian saying that Rhea’s destiny is to become the new Raw Women’s Champion and indicating that he believes she’ll win the fatal four way match later in the night.

Then, Edge got on the microphone to praise the members of his team, saying that they have become better than ever because they listened to his guidance. However, Edge said that someone else was also listening, and that the message of The Judgment Day was spreading.

This brought out Finn Balor, much to the surprise of the crowd and the commentators at ringside. At Hell in a Cell the night before, Finn Balor fought against The Judgment Day alongside Liv Morgan and AJ Styles in a losing effort. Balor said that he had a moment of clarity the night before, and that joining The Judgment Day wasn’t a choice; it was a calling.

As Balor was welcomed into the group, Damian Priest got back on the microphone to tell Edge that the group was ready to shed the last bit of their limitations before shockingly continuing with the words, “Which is you.” Priest then attacked Edge, and Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor soon joined in the attack.

After putting him through the announce table, the group even delivered a con-chair-to to the WWE Hall of Famer, adding extra insult by using Edge’s signature move against him. Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley, and Damian Priest stood tall atop their fallen former leader to end the segment.

This wasn’t the only brutal beatdown to take place on Monday Night Raw as Cody Rhodes was the victim of a sledgehammer attack at the hands of his Hell in a Cell opponent Seth Rollins. Full results from the June 6th episode of Raw can be found here.
