NXT Champion, Finn Balor, has taken to social media in order to lobby for a match with The Undertaker.
When WWE on Fox tweeted the question to fans who they would like to see ‘The Man From the Darkside’ face should he take on more final outing, Finn Balor could not help but answer the call with a picture of a graphic that depicted the two stars facing off.
Interestingly, the image the Irishman provided was not of his current self, but that of his alter-ego, ‘The Demon’, leading many to wonder what would have happened if The Undertaker and Balor’s dark side had collided in the middle of the ring.

This isn’t the first time Balor has shown interest in a clash with the legend. In January 2019, the star gave an interview to Inside the Ropes in which he said:
“Obviously, the kid Finn Balor wants to face the Undertaker. And obviously time is running out with Undertaker, obviously who knows when his last match is gonna be or what his last match will be. But with what’s on the line with The Beast, [Brock Lesnar], and how long is he gonna be around, we don’t know. Honestly, I’d take either one.”
Finn Balor is currently on the sidelines with a broken jaw after his stunning effort against Kyle O’Reilly at NXT TakeOver 31. He will make his return to the black and gold brand on November 18 in order to address the situation surrounding his NXT Championship.
The Undertaker will step away from the wrestling industry for good at WWE Survivor Series on November 22, thirty years to the day he made his legendary debut.
