FinJuice Set To Appear On IMPACT Following No Surrender Tease

FinJuice In IMPACT

FinJuice – the NJPW tandem of Juice Robinson and David Finlay – are set to appear on IMPACT after a teaser heralding the team’s arrival closed out No Surrender!

Following a tense main event which saw Rich Swann retain the IMPACT World Championship over Tommy Dreamer, IMPACT’s latest pay-per-view ended with the shock reveal of FinJuice’s imminent arrival! A short video would play, featuring the New Japan Pro-Wrestling‘s logo alongside various quickfire clips of Robinson and Findlay hitting several moves – ending with the two fully in-shot and posing towards the camera.

Speculation on what exactly the clip meant was quickly put to rest as IMPACT announced that both Robinson and Findlay will be appearing on the first edition of IMPACT following No Surrender! There are no details on what exactly the 2019 World Tag League winners will be doing on the show, however, beyond simply making an appearance.

Both men have had varying degrees of success within NJPW since their respective returns to the company late last year. In singles action, Robinson attained eight points in the 30th annual G1 Climax whilst Findlay unsuccessfully challenged KENTA for his Right To Challenge Briefcase to Jon Moxley’s IWGP United States Championship.

More recently, the two made it to the finals of the 2020 World Tag League last December before losing to the Guerrillas Of Destiny – who went on to capture the IWGP Tag Team Championships from Dangerous Tekkers during night 1 of Wrestle Kingdom 15. FinJuice have not competed together since.

This marks the second inter-promotional crossover to feature on IMPACT in 2021 after Kenny Omega, Private Party and Matt Hardy of AEW all appeared on the company’s flagship program during the year so far. With various talents from both AEW and New Japan now crossing over into other promotions, could we see some IMPACT names appearing on Dynamite or NJPW Strong anytime soon?
