David Finlay and Juice Robinson have returned to IMPACT for the first time in two months and picked up a win at Slammiversary!
During the show, Madman Fulton and Shera attempted to hold up the show but Scott D’Amore made his way out and informed the duo that instead of getting security to escort them out, he had a team ready to take them out. D’Amore’s team were revealed to be the NJPW duo of FinJuice who haven’t been seen in IMPACT since losing the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships in mid-May.
After a relatively short contest, Robinson picked up the win for his team with a Left Hand of God at their very first Slammiversary. The two celebrated as Matt Striker declared that whilst the two represent New Japan-Pro Wrestling, “they are IMPACT” suggesting that they’re here to stay!

The NJPW duo last appeared on the May 20th edition of IMPACT where they lost the promotion’s World Tag Team titles to Rhino and Joe Doering. Following a successful defence over Ace Austin & Madman Fulton, the Violent By Design members cashed in Rhino’s Call Your Shot trophy to get an immediate title match. One Gore later and the two were crowned the new champions.
Interestingly, neither Robinson nor Finlay have appeared in NJPW since debuting in IMPACT. Both of their last appearances came during the final show of this year’s New Japan Cup in late-March, losing a 6-man tag match alongside Toa Henare to BUSHI, SANADA & Tetsuya Naito of Los Ingobernables de Japon.
