Finish Of Becky Lynch Vs. Charlotte Flair Match Reportedly Being “Greatly Debated”

Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair exchange words in the ring

With reports of real-life bad feeling and a recent past full of controversy, the finish of the Survivor Series showdown between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair has been the subject of great debate.

The upcoming clash between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair is one of the most highly anticipated women’s matches in recent memory, and maybe even in WWE history.

Their story of friendship turned to rivalry, wrapped up in a whirlwind of rumour, innuendo, controversy and near constant speculation has dominated headlines in recent weeks. Some have even drawn parallels between the pair’s dysfunctional relationship and the disintegration of civility between Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart, which also reached a head at Survivor Series.

While the outcome of the match between Lynch and Flair continues to be hotly debated by fans, it appears that similar conversations are also taking place backstage.

A new report from Wrestle Votes notes that there is still real-life animosity between the two women, but WWE are expecting them to remain professional come show time on November 21st. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the finish of the match has been “greatly debated.”

Tensions between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair came to a head on the October 22nd edition of SmackDown. With the two women’s champions now appearing on the ‘wrong’ brand as a result of the 2021 WWE Draft, a championship exchange was due to take place.

However, the segment went anything but smoothly. Flair dropped her title on the floor, while Lynch ended up throwing her championship at Flair. This led to a confrontation between the pair backstage and The Queen being escorted from the building.

Speaking ahead of Survivor Series, Lynch claimed that she knew she would be “purposefully disrespected,” confirming that she “lost it” backstage as a result.
