The finalists for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship are now confirmed.
Earlier this month at the Saturday Night’s Main Event, Chelsea Green defeated Michin to crown herself as the first-ever Women’s United States Champion. Set to recreate a similar feat, four other women competed tonight for a shot at the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
On the December 30th episode of Raw, Dakota Kai defeated Zoey Stark with a Pele Kick, to qualify into the finals. Later in the night, Lyra Valkyria kept Kai’s fellow Damage CTRL partner, Iyo Sky, down to become a finalist as well.
Kai and Valkyria are now set to face each other two weeks later on the January 13th Raw episode in San Jose, to crown the inaugural Women’s IC champion.
While the Women’s IC match is two weeks away, Raw’s Netflix premiere is just around the corner on 6th January. With already an eventful night planned next week, Adam Pearce has announced another much-anticipated fight.
