On the October 28th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Emma returned to WWE for the first time in five years. The star’s reappearance came after it was reported that Chelsea Green could also be on her way back to the company after finishing up with IMPACT Wrestling.
Meanwhile, a new report has claimed that another former star could also be returning.
The report from Fightful Select notes that WWE are interested in bringing back “several” female talents, one of which is Tegan Nox. Fightful add that Nox hasn’t wrestled since been leaving WWE in November 2021 and had been dealing with a number of visa issues which had slowed things down.
The report states that while specifics are thin on the ground, WWE sources confirmed that the company do hold an interest in the star.
Since Triple H assumed creative control of WWE back in the summer, the new Chief Content Officer has re-signed a number of previously released stars. Bray Wyatt, Karrion kross, Dakota Kai, Hit Row and Braun Strowman have all made their way back to the company in recent months.
Tegan Nox Endured Injury-Hit First WWE Stint
Despite enduring something of a stop-start beginning to her WWE career, Tegan Nox finally made it to the main roster in July 2021.
Nox was initially meant to take part in the 2017 Mae Young Classic but was forced to withdraw due to injury. Her next outing came in the 2018 edition of the tournament, where after making it through two rounds, she again had to pull out due to a serious knee injury.
The Welsh star finally arrived in NXT in the summer of 2019 feuding with Kay Lee Rae. However, the Welsh star was struck down by a knee serious injury for a third time in September 2020.
After initially teaming with Shotzi Blackheart on SmackDown the pair were split up in the 2021 Draft with Nox heading to Raw. However, she was released in November, before even appearing on the red brand.
