“F*cking Clown” – Jim Cornette Blasts Rising AEW Star

Jim Cornette

Jim Cornette has slammed “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry after the star claimed that he wouldn’t take advice from Billy Gunn, despite the veteran working backstage in AEW.

Jungle Boy recently vaulted himself into the headlines following a convention appearance for The Love of Wrestling with Monopoly Events. During a Q&A the star appeared disinterred in not only the event but at times professional wrestling as a whole.

The former Tag Team Champion said that many of the wrestlers in dark matches for AEW are “horrible,” and that he wouldn’t take advice from Billy Gunn, instead favouring Luchasaurus.

During a recent episode of his podcast, the Jim Cornette Experience, the veteran gave his thoughts on Jungle Boy and what had transpired at the event. Unsurprisingly, Cornette held nothing back when criticising the star.

“It says a lot that he thinks that dino douche ought to be piecing anything together except a f***ing roadmap to a goddamn wrestling school,” Cornette said.

“And Billy Gunn has absolutely nothing to offer because he thinks it’s ridiculous that you should do your own backflip and land on your own head multiple times in a match, especially if it’s not the finish. This is where this f***ing clown’s head’s at.”

Jim Cornette Questions Jungle Boy’s Attitude

Cornette went on to suggest that the apparent bad attitude exhibited by Jungle Boy at the event can be seen in his appearances every week in AEW.

“You hear constantly about this guy’s attitude, and it shows in his performance,” Cornette said. “He does the cool little combative, Cirque du Soleil, aggressive, parkour, roughneck cheerleading, whatever we’re calling it this week, and that’s what he likes to do, and when he needs to do anything else, he can’t and he doesn’t want to.”

In recent months, Jungle Boy has climbed into the AEW main event picture, and as part of the storyline, there was a “Four-Pillars Tournament” to decide who would challenge MJF at Double or Nothing.

However, via fiery promos and plenty of shenanigans, a huge Four-Way-Match has now been confirmed for the event that will see MJF defend the World Championship against Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara, and Jungle Boy.
