A brand new match has been announced for Ric Flair’s Last Match featuring ROH talent.

On July 20th, Starrcast’s social media accounts announced a Fatal 4-Way match between current Ring of Honor World champion Jonathan Gresham, former AEW star Alan Angels, indie rising star Nick Wayne and DDT standout Konosuke Takeshita to the already stacked Ric Flair’s Last Match PPV.

The Ric Flair’s Last Match event will take place on Sunday July 31st, not only featuring Ric Flair’s final in-ring performance, but also matches with talent from AEW, WWE, IMPACT Wrestling, ROH, NJPW, MLW and AAA.

Jonathan Gresham is scheduled to defend the ROH World championship on Saturday’s Death Before Dishonor PPV against recently signed AEW star Claudio Castagnoli.

Alan Angels’ contract with AEW came to an end on June 30th with Angels declining a per-appearance contract, instead moving on to work several indie dates and an X-Division title match against Mike Bailey on IMPACT Wrestling.

Nick Wayne has been a standout of the indie scene, regularly performing on GCW shows and being offered a surprise AEW contract after the main event of a DEFY Wrestling show back in February.

Konosuke Takeshita is currently touring the United States with a number of critically acclaimed matches in AEW against the likes of Jay Lethal, Eddie Kingston, then AEW World champion Hangman Adam Page and most recently against current Interim AEW World Champion Jon Moxley on Week One of Fyter Fest.

Takeshita has also made a name for himself on the indie scene with matches against Lee Moriarty and Mike Bailey and is currently scheduled to face Jonathan Gresham on TERMINUS and current IMPACT Wrestling world champion Josh Alexander on GSPW’s Welcome To Eden’s main event.
