Fans Returning To NXT UK Next Week

NXT UK will see live crowds return for next week’s show!

For the first time in almost 18 months, fans will be in attendance at the BT Sport Studio as Ilja Dragunov defends his newly-won NXT UK Championship against A-Kid.

A press release issued by the company confirmed the news.

“NXT UK is set to welcome back fans to the BT Sport Studio starting Thursday, October 14, airing at 3pm ET / 8pm BST on Peacock in the US and WWE Network everywhere else. Marking the first return of a crowd to NXT UK in almost 18 months, the episode will see Ilja Dragunov defend his NXT UK Championship against A-Kid.”

The empty-arena era of NXT UK may be coming to an end, but the brand has undoubtedly made lemonade out of lemons, following a lengthy hiatus from recording new content by hosting a match that wasn’t just a highlight of the era of no crowds – but one which was ultimately enhanced by that in Walter vs Ilja Dragunov.

Inside The Ropes has confirmed that no tickets will be made available for general sale, though, with limited fans being invited only at present. Loyal fans will receive an email today thanking them for being a passionate member of the NXT UK Universe, and inviting them to two sets of tapings this week. Masks will be required, as will proof of double vaccination or a negative lateral flow test.

NXT UK showcases the brightest stars of WWE’s United Kingdom division including Ilja Dragunov, A-Kid, Trent Seven, NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura, Pretty Deadly, Jinny, and the youngest singles champion in WWE history, Tyler Bate. NXT UK also launched the WWE careers of Raw’s Rhea Ripley and Doudrop, SmackDown’s Toni Storm, plus NXT’s Pete Dunne, Kay Lee Ray and tag team Grizzled Young Veterans. Weekly episodes of NXT UK air every Thursday at 3pm ET / 8pm BST on Peacock in the US and WWE Network everywhere else, repeated in the UK every Friday at 10pm on BT Sport.
