Kairi Sane looks unrecognisable after her recent physical transformation.

Earlier last year, in December, Kairi Sane was forced to pull out of the Women’s Intercontinental Title Tournament due to injury. The Damage CTRL member later uploaded an image of herself on social media with a sling, confirming the injury reports.

Since her absence last year, Sane has regularly kept her fanbase active about her recovery journey. Engaging herself in a grueling training schedule, the former women’s tag-team champion regularly posts workout videos and photos on her social media handles. However, in the past six months, Sane has undergone a rapid and unrecognisable physical transformation.

More muscular than ever, she recently uploaded a workout photo of herself alongside former WWE star Xia Li, aka Léi Yǐng Lee. Fans soon caught the major change and started appreciating it in the comment section of her Instagram post. Several fans wrote, “How many pounds of muscle has Kairi added? She looks amazing”, “What a good physical shape you are in at your best Kairin, I hope for your return soon and your partner Asuka too”, “Proud of you and your hard work Kairi”, and many more.

Sane was last involved in a tag-team match against The Judgment Day on the December 12th episode of Raw.

More Details On Kairi Sane’s Injury

Almost four months after her injury, Kairi Sane opened up on social media. The former champion revealed suffering a torn ligament in her thumb, leaving her unable to “even open a bottle cap”. She has now undergone surgery and is on her way back.

“Three months ago, I tore a ligament in my thumb and couldn’t even open a bottle cap.

Now, I’ve fully regained my grip strength—and I’m even stronger than before.
I’m truly grateful from the bottom of my heart to Dr. Hirsch, who performed my surgery. He was such a kind and wonderful doctor.

I wish I had taken a photo with him to remember that moment.”
