A beloved WWE act from the mid-2010s has reunited over WrestleMania week, as Fandango and Summer Rae took to the ring once more.
On the 22 April 2013 edition of Monday Night Raw, Fandango, who had not long debuted the new character on WWE programming, would be joined by a new dance partner in Summer Rae. Together, ‘Dango and Summer would be together for around a year, with the former Johnny Curtis dumping Rae as his partner on a Twitter post following WrestleMania XXX.
Although their association only lasted twelve months, the WWE audience was fond of Fandango and Summer Rae’s partnership. The former Breezango member had a number of dance partners throughout his WWE tenure which also included Rosa Mendes and former Divas Champion Layla, but Summer Rae was unquestionably the most memorable.
Now, eight years on from their original association ending, Fandango and Rae have reunited, doing so at WrestleCon’s Mark Hitchock Memorial Supershow in Dallas. On the show, Fandango – who now wrestles simply as Dango – teamed with fellow former WWE Superstars Barry Horowitz, Jimmy Wang Yang, nZo, and PCO in a losing effort to Atsushi Onita, Colt Cabana, Juice Robinson, and The Rock’n’Roll Express.
Following the match, he’d be joined in-ring for a quick dance with Summer Rae, now going by her real name of Danielle Moinet. Footage of their reunion was posted to Twitter by user @zaahir3000:

Fandango would be released by WWE last June, alongside Breezango partner Tyler Breeze. He’s wrestled around the independent circuit since, including a number of appearances for the National Wrestling Alliance, where he entered the 2022 Crockett Cup alongside JTG. Summer Rae, meanwhile, was let go from Vince McMahon’s sports entertainment giant in October 2017. She’s wrestled just three matches since, including a return to the company in the 2022 women’s Royal Rumble match.
