After defeating Kevin Owens in a Hell In A Cell rematch, Ezekiel has confirmed the return of his older brother Elias to WWE on next Monday’s Raw!

On the 13 June edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, Ezekiel was victorious over Kevin Owens, albeit via count out. Following the match, Ezekiel confirmed the long-awaited return to WWE programming of his older brother, Elias, who’ll make his first official WWE appearance since August 2021.

Elias hasn’t been seen in WWE since the 10 August broadcast of Raw. There, ‘The Drifter’ appeared in a vignette, where he appeared to say farewell to his famed character as he dumped his trademark guitar in a roaring campfire.

Following this, the former WWE 24/7 Champion would go into purgatory, with a reported planned return canned for being “too much like Randy Savage“. Elias’ WWE 2K22 render displayed this, showing him wearing trunks similar to that of ‘The Macho Man’ but ultimately, this never made it onto WWE programming.

Instead, Ezekiel has continued the legacy of his family going within the company, first appearing on the Raw following WrestleMania 38 to confront Kevin Owens. The duo have been embroiled in a rivalry ever since, with Ezekiel initially losing ‘The Prizefighter’ at the Hell In A Cell premium live event last weekend.

It was confirmed later in the show that Elias’ role on next Monday’s Raw will see him perform his latest Elias Concert.
