Finn Balor has found himself new life amongst The Judgment Day as the once Demon King is always game for change.
While in Detroit for SummerSlam weekend, Kenny McIntosh of Inside The Ropes interviewed Balor and asked him if this current run is the best of his career.
“It’s certainly the most fun and certainly the most comfortable in the ring.”
Finn Balor Knows Change Is Good
While comfortable is a good feeling to have, Balor embraces change and makes note of that regarding his recent role in The Judgment Day.
“I feel like as performers we should continue to grow and evolve, and I feel like every era of my career has been the most comfortable. So, I don’t know if that is a good thing or a bad thing, but I have certainly enjoyed the last year a lot.”
Someone who has taken Balor out of his comfort zone from a storyline standpoint is Seth Rollins. The Visionary got a victory over Balor at Money In The Bank, retaining his WWE World Heavyweight Championship in singles action, but now the two are set for a rematch at SummerSlam on Saturday.
This bout has added intrigue as the Money In The Bank briefcase belongs to fellow brother of The Judgment Day, Damian Priest. Seeds of tension have been planted between Balor and Priest during the build for this bout, but the group does appear to be on the same page heading into SummerSlam.
Balor is no stranger to factions as he was once the leader of Bullet Club back in his New Japan Pro-Wrestling days as Prince Devitt.
With CM Punk now a free agent, Balor was asked if he has any interest in wrestling CM Punk.
