A former WWE wrestler made their TNA debut at Unbreakable on April 17th.
Answering an open challenge by X-Division Champion Moose, Sidney Akeem competed in his first match for TNA and was unsuccessful in defeating Moose following Alisha Edwards distracting the referee. Moose hit the Spear to win the match and retain the title.
Akeem is best known for his time in WWE as Reggie and later SCRYPTS in NXT. Akeem made his debut in late 2020 as Carmella’s sommelier as part of her feud with Sasha Banks. Akeem lost to Banks in his debut match and saw his alliance with Carmella end shortly before WrestleMania.
Following an alliance with Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler, Akeem was mainly part of 24/7 Championship storylines, where he won the title 4 times, including when he pinned Dana Brooke during their storyline wedding.
After a hiatus from TV, Akeem made his return on NXT as the masked wrestler SCRYPTS. Akeem left the company in June 2024 when his contract expired. Since then, the former 24/7 Champion has mostly worked on the independents.
