Ex-WWE Star Signs With TNA, Appears At Rebellion

TNA announced its latest signing at the Rebellion Premium Live Event, and it is a name that WWE fans will be familiar with.

Seen in the crowd at the show, former NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell was confirmed as the latest addition to the Knockouts division during an interview with Gia Miller. Hartwell described it as “a dream come true” and received a great response from the LA crowd. Hartwell then confirmed that she had crossed the line which was followed by a graphic that she also has merch available.

Commentary then added that Hartwell would be appearing on the next episode of Impact to discuss her signing.

Harwell is best known for her time in WWE, which saw her capture the NXT Women’s Championship and NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships with Candice LeRae. Called up to the main roster in 2023, Harwell continued her alliance with LeRae but was released in November 2023. Since then, Hartwell has competed on the independents, most notably in a match against Mercedes Mone for House of Glory.

Former WWE Star Latest To Join TNA

Hartwell is not the only former WWE star to join the TNA roster over the past few months. In late February, the former Elias made his surprise TNA debut to come to the aid of the World Champion and has since signed with the company. Elijah previously competed under the name Elias.

Additionally, former WWE wrestler Sidney Akeem [Reggie/SCRYPTS] has also made multiple appearances for TNA, most recently as part of the Ultimate X match at Rebellion. At the time of writing, Akeem has not officially signed with TNA.

Also on the show, Joe Hendry was attacked by a member of the NXT roster.
