One former WWE star is traveling to London and expected to make an appearance at AEW All In.
Back in June, PWInsider reported that Ricochet had given notice that he would not be renewing his contract when it expired. Soon after, speculation emerged that the star could be AEW-bound.
Ricochet officially became a free agent on July 1st, narrowly ruling out an appearance at Forbidden Door on June 30th as he was still under contract. However, a new report from Fightful Select indicates the star could be making his AEW debut sooner rather than later.
According to the report, the inaugural WWE Speed Champion has signed a multi-year deal with All Elite Wrestling and is planned for upcoming shows. Sources indicated to Fightful that the star was traveling to London and was planned to be at All In on August 25th, though there is nothing known about how he will factor into plans for the show.
When Did Ricochet Last Appear In WWE?
Ricochet’s final WWE appearance took place on the June 10th episode of Monday Night Raw. Appearing in multiple segments on the show, the star first made his presence known by attacking Bron Breakker and preventing Breakker from spearing Ilja Dragunov through the barricade after their match had ended.
Enraged, Breakker tracked the star down later in the night and launched an attack of his own, brutalizing him in the parking lot. Ricochet was taken away from the arena in an ambulance with his distraught fiancée Samantha Irvin in attendance, effectively writing him off TV. Pat McAfee served as ring announcer for the main event in Irvin’s absence.
