A former WWE star has opened up on what it would take for them to return to the company.

In December 2022, Mandy Rose was released from her WWE contract shortly after her 413-day NXT Women’s Title reign was brought to an abrupt end.

It was later reported that Rose was let go because of content she was posting on her FanTime subscription service. The company believed the star had gone “way, way over the line” with some of the things she was putting on the site. According to Rose, though, WWE had never informed her of these issues.

Now that two years have passed, and with the promotion’s history of bringing back controversial stars, Rose has spoken out about the possibility of returning. During an appearance on Busted Open Radio, she said it would be “kind of cool” to go back and reform Toxic Attraction with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. However, the storyline would have to be “juicy.”

“I feel like, coming back, how much time does it take for people to forget things. I feel like Toxic Attraction was such a big staple in NXT at the time. The storyline and what went on, how we meshed together, but we’re all so different.

“That would be kind of a cool way to get back and get the girls back in the groove as well. I know they’ve been on TV and they are amazing women. We had something so great going on at the time and the fans loved it.

“I think that would be good, or something not expected because that is the expected situation. I haven’t sat and thought about it too much. It would have to be something juicy.”

Mandy Rose Feels “Erased” By WWE

During the same interview, Mandy Rose admitted feeling “erased” by WWE. An example of this came recently when Stephanie Vaquer captured the NXT Women’s Championship from Giulia while holding the North American Title. It was claimed she was the first double champion on the brand, disregarding Rose winning the NXT UK Women’s Title while being the NXT Women’s Champion.
