Ex-WWE Manager Believes Roman Reigns Is Turning Face

Roman Reigns celebrates at WrestleMania 38

One ex-WWE manager thinks it’s time for the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns to turn to the good side!

Roman Reigns has had a record-breaking heel run in WWE, reigning as Universal Champion for over well over 700 days, the longest World Championship reign in modern history. Not only that, but he also defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania to capture the WWE Championship as well, making him the top star on both Raw and SmackDown.

With victories over nearly every top contender in the company, Roman Reigns is in need of new competition, and former WWE manager Dutch Mantell (who appeared as Zeb Colter during his time with the company) thinks a change in attitude might help the Tribal Chief find new and fresh top feuds.

Speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling, Mantell explained that he believes Karrion Kross could be in line for a huge heel run, which would mean turning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns babyface.

“I think Triple H sees something in [Karrion Kross]. I think they’re getting Roman Reigns ready to turn [face]. If they get some heels like Kross, get him hot, then they can turn Roman and hurt him or whatever. Let him go out and then come back and start a big, a big angle with Kross.”

Karrion Kross, along with his wife Scarlett, made his shocking return to WWE in early August after being released from the company back in November. His return came shortly after Dakota Kai and IYO SKY returned at SummerSlam, signaling to major changes taking place in the company in the wake of Vince McMahon’s retirement and Triple H gaining power as both Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and head of WWE creative.

Roman Reigns is currently set to face Drew McIntyre at this weekend’s Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales.
