Ex-WWE Champion’s Son Starting To Join Family Wrestling Legacy

Top WWE Star Set To Return Soon Following Extended Absence

A former WWE Champion’s son has started wrestling.

An integral part of the wrestling business for over two decades, former World Champion Randy Orton, hails from the prestigious ‘Orton wrestling family’ and is a third-generation pro-wrestler. While his father and grandfather were also popular wrestlers, The Viper’s fame has arguably surpassed theirs.

In his mid-40s now, The Apex Predator is slowly moving toward the dusk of his career. However, his son has already started wrestling and might soon become part of the heritage. Recently, speaking on What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon, Orton shared the story of his youngest son joining wrestling.

My youngest son started wrestling, wrestling tournaments. He’s a three-sport kid. He plays football, he wrestles, might play basketball this winter, but then he also does a few things with track. So he goes.”

However, it is not yet confirmed if Orton’s youngest son will seriously take up pro-wrestling or venture into a different sport based on his current curriculum. While there are no confirmations, fans expect to see the young Orton continue the family legacy and become a fourth-generation wrestler.

Randy Orton Regrets Not Losing To A Former WWE Star Several Years Ago

Recently, while appearing on the latest episode of Casual Talks With Classic, former WWE star Mustafa Ali opened up on his 2019 match against Randy Orton, where The Viper snatched a victory over him. However, while speaking on the podcast, Ali revealed that Orton had regretted not losing to him and wanted to put him over.

So Randy Orton’s the GOAT obviously. He’s the man. I had pitched doing this reversal to him, and at first he goes, ‘Hey, listen. I know you want to do this like handstand block thing.’ But he’s like, ‘If you fu** that up, like if you botch that.’ Yeah. He’s like, ‘This crowd’s going to boo you.’ Like he’s like, ‘They’re just going to think that you took a really bad RKO.’

And he’s like, ‘You’re in this position where you don’t want [to be].’ So, I kind of got in my head for a second, but then, for some reason, something told me. I go, ‘Randy, I promise you I won’t mess this up.’ So, he was like, ‘All right, like we can try it.’

So, we did it. Hit it perfectly. Rolled him up. The crowd came alive over there. Two seconds later, I get the RKO, and then Randy wins the match, obviously. But in the back, he kind of jokingly came up and put his arm around. He’s like, ‘Sh**, we should just put the kid over. That was great.’ He walks away. I was like, ‘Oh, yeah, that would have been great.’ But yeah, Randy is a constant professional. He’s a great guy. He’s been a bit of a mentor to me. So, yeah, I’ll always have that moment with him, and yeah, he’s the man.”

In other news: WWE is close to getting this iconic duo back after almost four years.
