The excitement began when Pure Fusion Collective, consisting of Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, and Shayna Baszler were set to face a trio with a mystery partner. Deville, exuding confidence, even interrupted Lyra Valkyria‘s entrance to dismiss their unknown opponent.
However, Deville’s bravado quickly evaporated when Natalya was revealed as the surprise partner for Valkyria and Zelina Vega. The veteran Superstar’s appearance marked her first WWE television appearance since June, where she had defeated Izzi Dame on NXT.
The hometown crowd was firmly behind Natalya and her partners and in a satisfying conclusion for local fans, the team of Valkyria, Vega, and Natalya emerged victorious over Pure Fusion Collective.
