A former WWE and UFC star looked unrecognizable in a newly surfaced photograph.
Though he had a short career in World Wrestling Entertainment, Cain Velasquez made an impact on his debut. Appearing on the October 4, 2019, episode of SmackDown, Valasquez made his way to the ring alongside Rey Mysterio to take on his former UFC rival, Brock Lesnar, as revenge for The Beast attacking Rey’s son, Dominik, earlier that week.
Vaslasquez proceeded to put a beatdown on Lesnar and had a match against The Beast Incarnate at Crown Jewel, which he lost. WWE had planned to give a spot to the former UFC Heavyweight Champion at the 2020 Royal Rumble, but the idea had to be scrapped due to Valasquez suffering an injury. He was subsequently released in April that year.
Ex-WWE And UFC Star Cain Velasquez’s Latest Photo From Prison Surfaces
In 2022, Valasquez was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder as he had shot at a man, where his bullets ended up hitting an unintended victim. Cardio Cain had tried to shoot Harry Goularte Jr. for allegedly molesting Valasquez’s son.
After being incarcerated for 8 months, the 43-year-old was released on bail and placed on house arrest until his trial concluded. In March 2025, he was sentenced to spend five years in prison.
While there are a few updates about him, a recent photo has surfaced on Roll N Rumble’s Instagram page of the former MMA fighter looking different from his usual clean-shaven look, and is seen sporting a beard.
