Ex-ROH Star Announces Retirement At 42: “Today I Say Goodbye”

A notable ROH star announced that he was retiring at the age of 42.

Brian Milonas is a name that appeared in Ring of Honor. He joined the promotion in 2017, best known as a member of The Bouncers with Beer City Bruiser. And now, at the age of 42, his time as a wrestler has come to an end.

On June 6, Brian Milonas announced on Instagram that all good things must come to an end. He shared that the main reason he was stepping away from the ring was due to his body. He revealed that he was passionate about professional wrestling since he was a young boy, and as an adult, he pursued his passion. He began to train at 19, and although he couldn’t ever become a WWE Superstar, he was still proud of what he had accomplished in his wrestling career.

“As an adult the pursuit of a career in pro wrestling has been my singular focus. Starting at age 19, I have dedicated so much time, effort and energy into making this crazy dream happen. While I fell short of my ultimate goal of becoming a WWE Superstar, I am very proud of my resume. I’ve had great times and made great friends along the way. My only regret is not stopping more in the moments to enjoy the journey. Today I say goodbye.”

In the same post, Brian Milonas shared that performing for 23 years had been the greatest honor of his life, recalling how he started his career at the “Polish American Veteran’s Club in Lowell, MA all the way to Madison Square Garden in New York City.”

The former ROH star then thanked the fans who supported him for the last two decades, stating that he could never repay them for all the love and support they had given him.
