A former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion has responded to fans calling her injury-prone after her WWE Exit.
Shotzi, who recently ended her tenure with the company after her contract was not renewed, has given fans who called her out for being injury-prone a strong rebuttal.
The 33-year-old posted on X (FKA Twitter) in response to fan criticism, likely stemming from the fact that she had injured her ACL and had spent a good portion of 2024 recovering before her eventual return. The Ex-WWE star shot back, saying:
“You idiots don’t know what injury prone means one major injury in 12 years is “injury prone”
On being reminded that she had claimed she received stem cell shots for her back issues, Shotzi addressed the claim head-on, stating that despite getting treatment,t she hadn’t taken a day off.
“Yeah, I did say that, and I have never taken a day off from wrestling because of my back.”
She ended the conversation by telling fans that ‘injury prone’ was a term that is often thrown around loosely and that not all wrestlers are prone to getting hurt, but are just human at the end of the day.
“Injury prone” is a term that you wanna be smart marks overuse to sound smart. 100% of the wrestlers you are calling injury prone are not, they are just human. https://t.co/4l3q4ORhnE

Posts like these are a stark reminder of how wrestlers often put their bodies on the line for entertainment and how unrelenting the business can actually be, both physically and mentally, for the talent involved.
Shotzi Is Set To Make An MLW Appearance After Leaving WWE
As the WWE had opted not to renew her contract, Shotzi isn’t bound by a non-compete clause and is free to wrestle for any promotion when she pleases. That moment may be arriving soon.
During MLW’s Azteca Lucha broadcast, a vignette aired heavily teasing her arrival at their “Summer of the Beasts” event, which will be held on June 26th. She is also scheduled to make appearances for the promotion in the future. You can read the full report here.
It would be great to see Shotzi back in action as she had become quite the fan favorite during her run in the WWE. As is often seen in the independents, she would have more control over her presentation, and with her experience and talent, she can definitely be a top name at MLW.
