An EX-AEW and current TNA star was seen at the site of a WWE NXT PLE.
As per reports from Fightful Select, EX-AEW star Mike Santana has been spotted backstage at the location of WWE NXT Battleground.
Santana has been on a roll as he had a gripping storyline and a fantastic “falls count anywhere” match with Mustafa Ali at TNA Rebellion. Santana is in his second stint with TNA, where he was a part of the renewed LAX faction.
It remains to be seen if this leads to him appearing on the show, but it’s certainly possible, as it features a match between Joe Hendry and Trick Williams for the TNA World Championship. With TNA stars frequently crossing over to WWE, especially NXT, Santana’s presence is definitely intriguing.
WWE NXT Battleground 2025 Complete Match Card
NXT’s PLE is shaping up to be a stacked card with some great matches with four titles on the line and some heated personal rivalries coming to a head, The card is as follows:
- Oba Femi vs. Myles Borne for the NXT Championship
- Stephanie Vaquer vs. Jordynne Grace for the NXT Women’s Championship
- Joe Hendry vs. Trick Williams for the TNA World Championship – a first for the company
