With speculation at an all-time high, here is every surprise entrant in the men’s and women’s WWE Royal Rumble matches.
From John Cena’s unexpected return to win the 2008 match in Madison Square Garden, to Edge’s emotional return when entering at number 21 in 2020 – the Royal Rumble match has created some of the most memorable moments in WWE history.
Wrestling fans around the world looked on in disbelief as AJ Styles walked into WWE during the 2016 Royal Rumble match, entering at number 3 to go toe-to-toe with Roman Reigns.
In 2011, Kevin Nash rolled back the years to don the black glove of “Big Daddy Cool” Diesel one more time in a brief cameo appearance before being eliminated by Wade Barrett.
