We have our first wrestler in the finals of the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament: Ethan Page.
On the November 16, 2022 episode of AEW Dynamite, Ethan Page and Bandido would square off in a semi-finals bout in the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament, with Page getting the victory and advancing to the finals of the tourney. Page earned the victory after landing the Ego’s Edge.
Ethan Page Is The First AEW Eliminator Tournament Finalist
On November 8, 2022’s AEW Dynamite, Ethan Page got a first round victory against Eddie Kingston, moving him on to the semi-finals against Bandido. With the victory over the latter, Page now awaits Ricky Starks, Brian Cage or Lance Archer in the finals, with that match taking place at this weekend’s AEW Full Gear.

For Page, this will be his first singles match in an All Elite Wrestling (AEW) pay-per-view. He originally made his debut in the promotion back in 2021 when he showed up at AEW Revolution as the Casino Ladder Match’s Joker.
With the results of the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament in the past couple of years, Bryan Danielson won last year’s tournament, going on to lose on two separate occasions to then-AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page. The year before in 2020, Kenny Omega was the victory of the tournament, and took advantage of his title shot by winning the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley.
