Eric Bischoff Says MJF Is “On A Different Level”

Former WCW President Eric Bischoff has praised one AEW star, saying that when it comes to the mic, MJF is working on a different level.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman has never been one to mince his words on the microphone in All Elite Wrestling. Stars such as Cody Rhodes, Jon Moxley, and Chris Jericho have all been on the wrong side of a verbal tongue lashing from the two-time Dynamite Diamond ring winner.

In the past few weeks, however, MJF seems to have taken his vitriol to another level as he took aim at Brian Pillman Jr. and his family. MJF made unsavoury comments about Pillman Jr.’s dad, the late Brian Pillman and his mother, Melanie that gave new meaning to getting personal.

Responding to a fan on Twitter that said they’d love to see an on-screen association between Eric Bischoff and MJF, Bischoff says he’d only be slowing The Pinnacle leader down:

“@The_MJFis on a different level when it comes to character mic work. I’d be slowing him down!”

As is usual, MJF could not keep his powder dry on the subject, offering a correction to the former RAW General Manager, saying:

“It ain’t a character uncle E.”

At AEW Grand Slam in Arthur Ashe Stadium, New York City Brian Pillman Jr. got his chance to get his hands on MJF in one-on-one action. Unfortunately for the Varsity Blond, MJF was able to get back to winning ways after he had suffered defeat to Chris Jericho at All Out.
