Eric Bischoff Reveals His Biggest Regret In Wrestling

Eric Bischoff

During the famous Monday Night Wars between the WWF and WCW, Eric Bischoff’s name was on everybody’s lips.

As Senior Vice President of World Championship Wrestling, Eric Bischoff led the charge against the World Wrestling Federation during the ’90s, with varying success.

In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani, Eric Bischoff spoke about his extensive career in wrestling, and opened up on whether he has any regrets.

Eric Bischoff Reveals His Biggest Regret In Wrestling

When asked if he had any regrets from his time in the wrestling business, Eric Bischoff responded with the following;

“Until last Sunday night, I would have said absolutely not. I could never look back and say I regretted anything. But I think now, I wish while I was working with Dusty … I would’ve asked more questions. I wished I would have dug a little deeper beyond the surface with Dusty, because he’s just a wealth of experience and knowledge and vision … same with Roddy Piper, you know, I regret the people that we’ve lost and I had access to. I regret not taking the time to get to know them better. That’s the only thing I regret.”

Bischoff worked with Dusty Rhodes and Roddy Piper in WCW between 1991-2001 and 1996-2000 respectively. Both are unfortunately no longer with us, with both passing away within two months of each other back in 2015.

Recently, Bischoff has also opened up about the infamous “Kevin Nash Blood Spill” botch on an episode of WCW Thunder.

Eric Bischoff will come to the UK for his “Controversy Creates Cash” tour with Inside the Ropes in September. The evening with Eric Bischoff will take place in Cork, Dublin, Belfast, London and Glasgow between the 24th and 28th of September.
