Eric Bischoff Makes WWE Return Following Health Scare

Eric Bischoff & Rob Van Dam on WWE Raw

Eric Bischoff joined the likes of Rob Van Dam, Booker T, and Molly Holly on the May 1st episode of Raw to preside over night two of the WWE Draft.

The former Raw General Manager took charge of round four alongside RVD. Both men were cheered to the rafters during their respective entrances, a particularly poignant moment for Bischoff after he recently revealed details of a serious health scare.

Speaking on his podcast, the former WCW boss said that he “almost died twice” although he is now doing well since leaving the hospital.

Back on Raw and alongside fellow Hall of Famer, Rob Van Dam, the pair announced that Trish Stratus and Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler are heading to the red brand, while Karrion Kross and LA Knight are going to SmackDown.

Eric Bischoff Critical Of CM Punk’s WWE Raw Visit

A week earlier, CM Punk set the professional wrestling rumour mill on fire by showing up out of the blue backstage at the taping in Chicago. Punk is believed to have spoken with Triple H and The Miz among others before being asked to leave by security at the behest of Vince McMahon.

This was the first time that Punk had attended a WWE show since his acrimonious exit from the company back in 2014. The surprise visit also comes just weeks before the star will reportedly return to AEW to head up the new Saturday night show Collision.

In response to the visit, Eric Bischoff branded Punk a “desperate b*tch,” and suggested that he has “zero” respect for him.
