Eric Bischoff has a lot to say about the recent issues in All Elite Wrestling.
Longtime WCW executive, writer, producer, and on-screen talent, Eric Bischoff continues to offer his thoughts on the situation regarding CM Punk, Kenny Omega, Matt, and Nick Jackson in AEW.
During the latest episode of his ‘Strictly Business with Eric Bischoff‘ show, Bischoff claims to have never seen a situation during his time with WCW like the one that’s currently ongoing in AEW:
“In all of years I spent in WWE as a talent, I never witnessed anything like what happened in AEW. I never even witnessed like, what had happened in WCW under my watch when things got tense and out of control. It was a very, very well-managed locker room and roster.”
In case you’ve somehow missed it, now-former AEW World Champion, CM Punk took the stand during this past weekend’s AEW All Out post-show media scrum, where he used his platform to take aim at several of his All Elite Wrestling colleagues, perhaps most notably Kenny Omega, Matt, and Nick Jackson of The Elite.
Following Punk’s remarks, he, along with the aforementioned members of The Elite engaged in a physical altercation, which ended with Punk being stripped of his AEW World Title, The Elite being stripped of their World Trios Titles as well as suspensions for everyone involved in the spat, including AEW personnel and on-screen talent in the form of Ace Steel, Christopher Daniels, Michael Nakazawa, Brandon Cutler, and Pat Buck.
