Entire WWE Locker Room Laughed As Brock Lesnar Got Ribbed By An Unlikely Star

Brock Lesnar got ribbed by a 5-foot-6 wrestler, and the entire locker room laughed at the former WWE Champion’s expense.

Late legend Curt Hennig, also known by his ring name Mr. Perfect, urged former WWE and ECW star Spike Dudley to rib OVW’s newest import to the Stamford-based wrestling promotion, Brock Lesnar. This was before he became The Beast Incarnate, a world champion, and a UFC box office attraction.

When WWE brought in Lesnar, he worked with Spike Dudley before his TV debut. Spike, being the veteran, got to call the match. This was the perfect opportunity, as Curt Hennig convinced Dudley to slap The Beast’s head repeatedly after he missed the Leap Frog maneuver.

When Spike Dudley told Brock Lesnar to hit a Leap Frog on him, Lesnar wondered why he would do that to an opponent smaller in size. But since the veteran was calling the shots, he obliged.

Spike Dudley recounted his match with a young Brock Lesnar on Insight with Chris Van Vliet and what had happened after he pulled off the prank. Lesnar chased him around, as Dudley was slightly faster than his larger opponent, especially when it came to slipping in and out of the ring. After some time, however, the Beast realized he was getting ribbed.

So finally, it settles down. I get inside the ring, [Brock Lesnar] grabs me and F-5s me, he’s like, ‘F**k you,'” Spike Dudley recalled what happened after Brock found out.

He continued, “We went back to the locker room, and there’s Curt Hennig and the entire locker room, just laughing their a** off, just crying of how bad—and Brock was great, he had a great sense of humor. He’s like, ‘You motherf**ker. You got me,’ all that stuff. But yeah, that was a funny moment with Brock. He was great.”

Dudley further praised Lesnar’s sportsmanship, calling the latter a “good guy” who was also very smart with whatever business he got involved in, whether it was WWE or UFC.

On SummerSlam 2025 Night 2, amid the Janel Grant scandal, Brock made his unprecedented WWE return, setting up what appears to be a farewell match against John Cena, who will ride off into the sunset in December. Lesnar and Cena were part of the same OVW class of 2002.
