WWE Talent “Emotionally Scarred” By Vince McMahon Lawsuit

WWE Talent

A member of the WWE roster has detailed their experiences regarding the manipulation of Vince McMahon.

The wrestling world was shocked and appalled on January 25th when the horrifying details of the McMahon lawsuit became public knowledge. The 67-page lawsuit that accused Vince McMahon of sexually assaulting former WWE employee Janel Grant in addition to sex trafficking charges would implicate multiple executives within the accusations, highlighting an alleged toxic culture within WWE as a whole.

Many were angered with the way that Paul Levesque [Triple H] handled the allegations at the Royal Rumble press conference, with Levesque admitting that he had not read the lawsuit. According to a new report, members of the roster have given their thoughts and are also not happy about how WWE has acted in the following days.

As reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, one star within the company was emotionally scarred by the contents, adding that McMahon effectively left talent no choice when dealing with his tirades:

One company star noted to us that reading the lawsuit was emotionally scarring, noting that the sad fact is that everyone in the company was striving for Vince’s love and approval, and how devastating reading the suit was to have thought that and worked for someone who in the end didn’t care about their talents.

“Vince made so many of us feel small and awful. We all had to obey his abuse in order to keep our jobs.”

The report continues, noting how no one had spoken to one star about the situation involving McMahon but was informed of the positive events that took place in the same week:

It was also noted that there was a lot of trauma among the women as this went down with the fear it will get crazier is more women come forward. According to one main roster star, nobody has talked to them about the situation from management, other than to tell them that Vince won’t be back. Instead they were told how successful the Royal Rumble was and how big the new Netflix deal is.
