Elektra Lopez Breaks Silence On WWE Release

WWE NXT Heatwave Masha Slamovich Ava Jacy Jayne Ash By Elegance Santino Marella WWE TNA 2025

Former SmackDown star Elektra Lopez has broken her silence following her release from WWE this past weekend.

Lopez was among 11 names cut from the company, joining Akam, Rezar, Paul Ellering, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Cedric Alexander, Giovanni Vinci, Blair Davenport, Isla Dawn, and Sonya Deville in the latest round of roster cuts.

Lopez first joined the promotion in early 2021 and quickly made her mark in NXT as part of Legado Del Fantasma alongside Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro. However, when the faction was called up to the main roster in 2022 and rebranded as the LWO with Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega, Lopez remained in NXT until early 2024.

In January 2024, she finally made the move to SmackDown as part of a revamped Legado Del Fantasma, joining Escobar, Angel Garza, and Humberto Carrillo. Despite being a regular presence on TV, Lopez wrestled only three matches before being released.

Following the news, Lopez took to social media with a confident and cryptic response, writing:

“Heard any good news lately? No? Well, make it quick—I’ve got a packed schedule for the next 90 days ⏳.”

While Lopez’s tenure with the company has come to an end for now, her statement suggests she is already looking ahead to her next chapter in professional wrestling.
