El Hijo Del Vikingo Injured And Stretchered Out During TNA Impact Tapings [Video]

El Hijo del Vikingo on AEW Dynamite

El Hijo del Vikingo was injured once again.

TNA star El Hijo del Vikingo finds himself in a questionable situation once again just weeks after his wrestling return. At the recently concluded TNA Bound For Glory, Vikingo made his long-awaited TNA return against Mike Bailey.

However, within just hours of his return from an injury, the TNA star had to be stretchered out during the recent Impact tapings in Detroit, MI. As per a report from PWInsider, Vikingo suffered a legitimate leg injury during the tapings. During his match against Trent Seven, Vikingo landed awkwardly on the ringside after executing a springboard dive from the top rope.

The match was stopped immediately as the referee threw up the ‘X’ sign, signaling the seriousness of the situation. Soon after, medical staff checked on the star and stretchered him out of the ringside.

Out of action for now, more updates on his injury are yet to be out.

Vikingo recently returned after a seven-month gap from a knee injury. He is still scheduled to face Alberto del Patron for the AAA Mega Championship in Mexico on November 10th.

We at Inside The Ropes wish El Hijo del Vikingo a very safe and steady recovery.
