With All Out just around the corner, the card is taking shape and eight women have been announced as the first competitors in the Casino Battle Royale.
The Casino Battle Royale has become a staple of All Elite Wrestling as the company offers its own twist on the traditional Battle Royal format. Four lots of five competitors will enter the match at different times according to which card suit they drew. The twenty-first and final entrant will be the one who draws the joker card, giving themselves a good chance of coming out on top.
The winner of the match at All Out will earn an AEW Women’s World Championship somewhere down the line with current champion Dr. Britt Baker DMD defending her title at the pay-per-view against Kris Statlander.
Eight competitors were announced for the Casino Battle Royale on AEW Dynamite after Nyla Rose was the first entrant announced on AEW Dark. Joining The Native Beast will be Big Swole, Diamante, Julia Hart, Penelope Ford, Red Velvet, Tay Conti, Thunder Rosa, and The Bunny.
After the announcement, Tay Conti was set to be interviewed and was asked about the ongoing issues in The Dark Order. Before the Brazilian star could reply she was interrupted by The Bunny who offered her a place alongside her in The Hardy Family Office. Conti did not take kindly to that suggestion and the two women brawled before being separated by officials.
The Casino Battle Royale at All Out will be the sixth in company history and only the second version for the women since the first All Out pay-per-view in 2019. At that event, Nyla Rose came out on top earning a shot to become the first-ever AEW Women’s World Champion but lost out on that honour to Riho.
