WWE have discussed promoting Edge vs The Fiend as a featured WrestleMania 37 match, according to WrestleVotes.
The Twitter account states that the original WrestleMania plan of Edge versus Randy Orton is still pencilled in for the big show. However, Edge and The Fiend competing at the Showcase of the Immortals has been discussed at length too.
WrestleMania update: Source states that while Edge vs Randy Orton has been the long standing plan, and still is at the moment, the idea of Edge vs The Fiend has been discussed a great deal for the show.

Edge defeated Orton in an epic Last Man Standing encounter at this year’s WrestleMania that took place all over the WWE Performance Center.
The pair clashed in a re-match at Backlash in a bout billed as “The Greatest Match Ever” won by Orton. Edge suffered a torn triceps in the match and has been benched ever since, although he is expected to be fit to compete at WrestleMania.
A third Edge versus Orton battle would be the rubber match. However, a fresh first time ever battle between Edge and Bray Wyatt’s deranged alter ego may hold greater appeal for the WWE Universe.
‘The Rated R Superstar’ and ‘The Viper’ Randy Orton have clashed many times over the past two decades whereas Edge and Wyatt have never wrestled before.
Wyatt debuted on WWE’s main roster in 2013, whereas Edge retired in 2011, the day after WrestleMania XXVII.
It remains to be seen which match will get the go-ahead for WrestleMania 37. However, the Road to WrestleMania is on the horizon and the card will start to take shape in the next few months.
