Edge Vs Finn Balor Set For WrestleMania 39, Major Stipulation Added

Edge & Finn Balor

Edge might have founded The Judgment Day, but the faction has proven to be a bigger enemy than he could have ever imagined.

At WrestleMania 38 the WWE Hall of Famer defeated AJ Styles, but only after being joined by Damian Priest. A month later, the star triumphed again this time after being aided by Rhea Ripley.

However, with the trio flying high, Edge was kicked out of the group and replaced by Finn Balor. The betrayal began a feud that is yet to reach its conclusion. Dominik Mysterio and Beth Phoenix have also been dragged into the chaos and each made their presence felt.

There have been run-ins, tag matches, “I Quit” matches, and plenty more, but at WrestleMania 39 it will come to an end.

Edge Lays Down WrestleMania Challenge

Edge opened the March 13th episode of Raw, and wasted little time in getting down to business. The former World Champion called out Balor and he quickly got his wish with the star arriving on the stage backed up by The Judgment Day. The Rated-R Superstar said that he was short on time and had goals to accomplish, leading him and his rival to agree to a match at WrestleMania.

However, that wasn’t enough. Recalling the suffering that the group had inflicted on his family, Edge said that there was only one way to finish their feud, Hell In A Cell. The threat came with a huge cheer from the crowd, and Balor accepted. The Irish star noted that he’s been to hell before, but it couldn’t handle his demons. Seemingly a hint that he could reprise his “Demon” persona.
