WWE Hall of Famer Edge could be set for some time away from the ring after WWE announced that he suffered a serious injury on Raw.
On the 6th of June edition of Monday Night Raw, Edge’s Judgment Day group promised to add a new member to their ranks following their triumph at Hell In A Cell. Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley joined The Rated-R Superstar in picking up a victory in a six-person tag team match against AJ Styles, Finn Balor, and Liv Morgan.
This made it all the more shocking when Finn Balor emerged as the newest member of The Judgment Day. The first-ever Universal Champion explained his decision came as a result of conversations with Ripley and Priest following Hell In A Cell before Priest told Edge the group needed to rid itself of anything that was holding it back. Balor, Ripley, and Priest then attacked the 11-time world champion, delivering a vicious beating punctuated by a con-chair-to.
On WWE’s The Bump, Kayla Braxton announced that following the attack by the new-look Judgment Day Edge suffered a non-displaced orbital floor fracture. Braxton continued by saying that the injury was confirmed by a CT scan which took place on Tuesday after the assault.

There is no word on how long Edge might be absent from the ring but WWE is battling injury issues with its biggest stars as Cody Rhodes was also seemingly written off TV on Raw after suffering a gruesome torn pec.
