Edge Heading For Character Change

A new report has suggested that Edge could be undergoing some changes after he was kicked out of Judgment Day on Raw.

Ahead of the June 6th episode of Monday Night Raw it was announced that Judgment Day would be getting a new member. The group consisting of Rhea Ripley, Edge and Damian Priest were coming off the back of a win over Liv Morgan, AJ Styles and Finn Balor at WWE Hell In A Cell the night before.

On Raw, Priest and Ripley discussed fulfilling their destiny, before Edge got on the microphone to reveal that the group was spreading. This surprisingly brought out Finn Balor who had been battling against the group in recent weeks.

The former Universal Champion explained that he had a moment clarity at Hell In A Cell, describing joining Judgment Day as a “calling.” As Balor was welcomed into the group, Priest got back on the microphone and said it was time to shed the last thing holding the group back, before turning to his WWE Hall of Fame teammate.

At this, Priest and Ripley attacked their leader, before Balor joined in. The trio launched Edge through the announce table before delivering a con-chair-to, leaving them standing tall over the broken former World Champion.

It has now been reported by PWInsider that WWE have moved Edge over to the babyface side of the Raw roster.

While there has been nothing official, the quick change could be in response to Cody Rhodes requiring surgery which could keep him around for six months.

Raw proved to be a huge night for Judgment Day as Rhea Ripley won a Fatal Four-Way Match to become the number one contender for Bianca Belair’s Raw Women’s Title. The pair will meet at Money In The Bank.
